About UOIT-DC MSA

MSA stands for Muslim Students Association. With Tawhid (Oneness of God) and belief in Prophet Muhammad as the last messenger as our core belief, we strive to fulfill our obligations as laid out in the Qur’an and in the teachings of the Prophet (Sunnah). Our aim is to unite and develop a Muslim community on campus by organizing events and providing various services.

Our Objective

• To serve as a unifying body for all Muslims on campus which shall address their needs and help new comers adapt to the university/college lifestyle

• Make Islamic knowledge available to the public

• To eliminate misconceptions about Islam and promote friendly relations with other groups by conducting educational, cultural, social, and religious activities in the best tradition of Islam

Both institutions act as the premier source of learning in the Durham region. As the MSA for UOIT-DC, we hope your learning years are pleasant and enjoyable. Diploma or degree, part-time or full-time – we’ll be here all year round to make that happen with you.
